Prosperity Now Savings Network 2018 Webinar Series

Want to network nationally with other practitioners in the savings field? Join us for Prosperity Now’s Savings Network bi-monthly webinar series! During this series, we’ll explore savings challenges and opportunities, share strategies for services & solutions, and build a peer learning community along the way. Each webinar, we’ll hear from practitioners, product developers and savings experts/researchers about creative innovative products and services, and discuss savings solutions and features which could best meet the needs of the communities we serve. Through the Savings Network, we’ll take what we’ve learned as a field from earlier savings programs and initiatives—both what worked and what didn’t—to build improved, sustainable, and resilient new initiatives. Together, let’s help families progress from financial insecurity, to stability—to prosperity!

Our topic for May: The Savings Network will hold our second webinar, “Innovations in Matched Savings in a Post-AFI World,” on Wednesday, May 9th from 2:00-3:30 pm EDT. What’s on the horizon for matched savings, post-AFI? It’s been a full year since Assets for Independence (AFI) was defunded. In that time, organizations across the country have been exploring innovative ways to fill the gap that AFI left. Join us on May 9th from 2-3:30 pm EDT for a conversation on savings innovations with Lauren Gates from RAISE Texas and Rodolfo Acosta-Pérez from the Community Action Agency of Southern New Mexico. Bring your own strategies and insights to the discussion—we’re looking forward to hearing from you!

One final note: by joining this webinar series, we’ll add you to the Prosperity Now Savings Network so you can receive periodic updates about new resources or information from the savings field—for free!
